Week 3
This week I worked pretty hard at upping the exercise and managed to do so at least a little every day. I managed my food pretty easily, but did drink plenty of booze Friday and Saturday. Despite those slip-ups, I lost another 2 lbs this week. I do not know how I would manage it without LoseIt.com. It's a major help. I can feel myself starting to get pretty bored with my limited diet but I hope to keep it up. How did everyone else do?? Awesome?? That's what I figured.

Yeah, I weighed myself Sunday morning after drinking Friday & Saturday, eating fast food Saturday evening and was down the said 2 lbs. Weighed myself again this morning and gained 3. Urrrgggh. I wish I would quit weighing myself obsessively, cause when that happens, its really frustrating.
ReplyDeleteI know you guys all officially started 2 weeks ago, but I got sidetracked with work and other "excuses." You try arguing with the IRS about $40k mistakes THEY made. It will lead anyone to eat a plate of greasy mexican food and drink a beer. That being said, I officially started yesterday. I took Lindsey's casserole advice and did one with tilapia, brown rice, and lots of mixed veggies. It's pretty tasty. I also started packing my lunch so I don't go eat crap in the middle of the day. So, here's hoping I can catch up with you guys!!
ReplyDeletei'm with PCL - i wanted to participate with you guys but i was distracted. i quit smoking cigarettes for 1 month, then was on vacation for an entire week last week where i started smoking again and have been now for 5 days like a retard. after this pack i am back on the wagon!
ReplyDeleteinitially when i quit i did start jogging and exercising. everything went out the window last week. so, wednesday i will be starting over and joining you! my mom just gave me this awesome steamer with 2 giant trays, so i'm going to find some recipes for that.
i've also been stocking up on cereal bars and soup that i eat at work when i'm hungry so i don't get fast food. not ideal, but it's a start. i weigh more than i've ever weighed, and it's about 20lbs more than i weighed no more than a year ago. my goal is to go from 138-115.
i'm so glad you guys are still with it!! it makes it easier for me. i am SO ready!!!
lol, "the most you've ever weighed" is my first goal weight.
